General Description

HUALI HOT MELT BUTYL RUBBER, a single-component sealant without flux, takes imported butyl rubber and polyisobutylene as its basic materials. It gives outstanding seal ability and adhesion to aluminum, glass and stainless steel, and has properties of non-split, non-hardening, as well as excellent resistance to heat and water immersion, all of which makes it an ideal choice for the first sealing of insulating glass.

Applicable Scope

The product is applied for the first sealing of insulating glass, and can also be used together with two-component Thiokol rubber, two-component elastic silicon sealant, two-component polyurethane sealant and single-component hot melt. Certified by National Glass Testing Center, the dual-sealing insulating glass made with the HLDJ-801 HOT MELT BUTYL RUBBER is able to fulfill all the international requirements.

Application Instructions

Heat Resistance

Make clean and dry the surface of glass and aluminum that are to be adhered to, remove dust and greasy filth from them. Extrude the product with special extruder for hot melt butyl and smear it homogenously on the glass and aluminum. Ideal extruding temperature is expected to be 125ºC—135ºC, and ambient temperature no lower than 5ºC.

Non-dusting, non-hardening, non-loss of adhesion and non-decomposition in successive 30-hour use between minus 40ºC and plus 130ºC, the highest temperature it can endure being 175ºC

Q: What's the lead time for orders?

A: Standard models for production lines ship in 100 days; customized production lines require 120 days; single machines need 60days; sealant & adhesives and manual tools ship within 15 days. 

Q: Do you provide after-sales service overseas?

Q: How do I place an order?

A: Contact us via email/phone for an initial quote, we would arrange factory tour in China or where already had our production lines on site near your country/area if needed, then have meetings to form a customized solution then confirm with a PO; for sealing materials, we would provide quotes and send samples upon request, and then confirm with a PO. 

Q: What are the payment terms and cycle?  

A: For equipment products, a 30% deposit is generally required upfront, 65% is to be paid upon completion of production and before shipment, and the remaining 5% is to be paid after the goods arrive, installation, and commissioning are completed. For sealant products, full payment is generally required before shipment. T/T is accepted.  

Q: How long does installation, commissioning, and training take after the equipment arrives?  

A: For individual equipment, it usually takes 10-15 days, while for entire production lines, it generally takes 21-28 days.
